I can't see how yall can call this mediocre.

The lyricism, the flow on this album is best ever for Ross.

The girls songs a Lil outta place but it's not taking away from the first 9 songs at all

Smile mama smile is one of the best songs Ross ever made

I figured this wouldn't be better than black dollar. Black dollar and rich forever his best projects

Still this is dope 8 out of 10

I want one more trap song up here too

It's above average (slightly)

Smile momma smile is an incredible record period. That was the deciding factor in above average for me.

But a lot of the records sound uninspired. Ross just sounds laid back an indifferent talking about real issues and it's kind of puzzling...

Lyrically Ross has always been a monster to me. He can turn it on and off depending on the record but the dude has bars so I'm not surprised when he brings his A game but this album is clearly his version of Strictly 4 My nikkaz or Death Certificate or even Makaveli

Back against the wall, house arrest, million man march advocate and all the injustices within the last year

I'm expecting Rick to be highly motivated and passionate when ATTACKING these records

Listen to his passion on I'm a Boss w/ Meek

That's what I need on Silk Road or Black Opium..

Teflon Don
Deeper Than Rap
Rich Forever/ GFID

Still his top 3 projects breh

Ross rapping every bar like its the greatest shyt ever said on wax and I love it. Hahaha.

Seems like for the longest time Ross wanted us to believe he was the biggest boss. This record lets me know he believes it now too.

Salute that man.

Disappointed in this one. There was nothing I was anticipating more after Black Dollar, which is 10x better, but this let me down. That stretch of commercial joints was a big downer, and the best song I had already played over 50 times from Black Dollar. There are a couple bright spots here and there, but nothing coming close to the classic joints from Deeper Than Rap, Rich Forever, Teflon Don, and Black Dollar.

This much better then black dollar

Is it trap nikka Ross or soul Ross :patrice:
Out of all the tracks including the deluxe there's only 4 "trap" songs. So that's 4 outta 17 tracks?

Color Money, Ghostwriter, D.O.P.E., and Carol City

And ALL of them are fire except D.O.P.E. imho

They are not your generic BMF remakes. Everything else is soulful or RnB Ross...
