Yep I hear it too, stylistically dude is superb, DTR and teflon don was like a a throwback the 80s movie mafia/miami crime film grandiose era, but this is like 70s movie throwbacks even to how he looks on the cover, shyt is dope.

Definitely a big cinema influenced rapper lol
We need a new Hood Crime movie with Rozay doing the soundtrack like how Jay did American Gangster

Personal ranking of Ricky albums

1. Mastermind - His most consistent album with the least amount of poppy/girl and unnecessary trap songs (also has incredible bonus songs)
2. Teflon Don - Would probably be #1 if it was lengthier
3a. Hood Billionaire - Songs went hard as fukk and overall very consistent but personally I prefer epic soulful/introspective/Justice League type-ish Ross
3b. Black Market - Jury still out on this one obviously but could be 3 or 4 on my list
4. GFID - Middle of the album is very lukewarm. From 911 to Touch N You is :patrice:Take away those songs and this would be damn near a classic
5. Deeper Than Rap - I know this is a personal favorite for most, but IMO a lot of the songs did not age very well
6. Trilla
7. Port of Miami

These aint age well?

this shyt would have been an easy 9/10 album without the tacked on chick tracks. not just 1 of em but 4, all after one another :snoop:

If this shyt ended on that chris brown track it'd be so much better imo. I'm still waiting for ross to drop that undisputed classic man, he has enough 5 star songs in his catalogue this should have been done. 10 or so tracks of straight mafioso level ducktales over amazing production is all I ask rozay :sadcam:
