10k aint even that bad. I paid 4k for 4 trees this past fall. That included cutting, getting rid of em, and grounding the stumps

Cutting the trees down is the easy part. Now you gotta cut the trees to smaller sizes to transport them to place that takes them. This requires a big ass dump truck.

You also left with 10 stumps that needs expensive specialty equipment to remove plus cleanup.

10k was a reasonable price. I hate when folks undermine blue collar work. Them were some big trees too.

$1k a tree is pretty damn good actually. although i can't really compare trees out in the open to someone cutting a tree near to your home. he was just cutting and wasn't even worried about which direction it fell. i cut trees that are away from my house and let the licensed and bonded companies handle the shyt that could land on my house.
