I initially objected to the cost associated with removing a tree believing its a basic job and dudes were asking too much, about 500. It was a big one and they brought a team of guys and took ages because it was between 2 yards and had hella branches. They did us a huge favor in terms of cost when I later learned what people usually pay.

nikkas have no problem spending 10K on bullshyt but let a blue collar worker charge you 10K (which is a reasonable price) for cutting down 10 big ass oak trees and hauling them off you want to act like someone rippin you off. He probably could have had a lumber company come out and cut them. They'd pay him for the lumber. They can fukk your land up with their big ass trucks tho. But with the price of wood being so high he might've gotten a couple grand for it.
