Ross is touring all over the caribbean, south america, and africa. Gotta respect that. Most of these rappers hardly tour outside of the u.s. and If they do they only go to white countries and japan.





Ross hosts his own charity events giving back to communities in miami. So you can sit your fake self-righteous ass down.

I've long said that the lower class Nigerians struggling everyday like Rick showed do NOT exist in the eyes of many well educated and well to do Nigerians. Look at this thread. I wouldn't be surprised if many of the kids of Nigerian privilege are in here beefing more than anyone about the video. They're more concerned about "t-t-t-they make us look bad!!!!" rather than focusing on the issues that create the conditions where the average Nigerian citizen makes a dollar a day. YES....THEY DO EXIST....YES....THEY MAKE UP THE MAJORITY OF OUR PEOPLE. Stop giving priority to "what Westerners would think" looking at those images as opposed to what we are not doing.

One of the beautiful things the African American experience in this U.S. has taught me is that Upper to Middle Class blacks do NOT act like lower class blacks do not exist. That is something that is in short supply back home.

Sorry....our parents more than likely educated upbringing did NOT reflect what the average Nigerian experiences.

My father grew up in the Palace in Ife under the Ooni of Ife Aderemi

My father's life did NOT reflect that average Nigerian citizens life like what we saw in the video.

I don't look for the video to make me "proud" like you're looking for. The value to me is in exposing the realities for most Nigerians and the willingness for someone who has no business being there actually caring enough to be there and look at them as human beings....something that is in short supply in Nigeria.

On the real, as an Black American, I thought Nigeria was one of the more well off countries in Africa. I know mad Nigerians here doing well, and still keep in touch with their folks back home. The picture was always painted from them that Nigeria aint the same Africa as the help a child commercials we see on TV. Of course their is poverty everywhere, but I'm talking in general.

I wanted to dap this post until you thanked Rick. now if he actually contributes to poor people then I got love for him but there's nothing worse than the people who want to "bring awareness" without bringing any tangible solution.
