This is the problem with diss songs and all songs that are primarily focused on bars and nothing else - it's an interesting listen for a day or two after that there is no reply value. I loved this song yesterday, can't be bothered with it today.

People need something to sing or vibe to and this ain't it and this is the primary reason why lyricist will always be "underrated" and underpaid. Rightfully, so. Lyricism is (in a way) very self-indulgent.

Nothing to do with lyricism or diss song. If you don't want to play it after one day, it just means that the song is not that good.

I still play "drop a gem on em" and "Long kiss goodnight".

Low key I think the social media era served as an avenue to demolish the facade that Cash Money were trying to keep alive. Slim private as hell, nobody know about him and real talk nobody would care if he wasn't sitting on 100M's like Birdman claimed...yet that's the problem! Birdman playing Sam Rothstein, trying to keep the image up really trapped Cash Money and forced them to play a part that they eventually weren't able to.

The beginning of the end of Cash Money, or at least rumors that something was looking funny in the light came from the video showing what Bronald oil was actually about...a ground oil pump out in a suburban neighborhood :smh: It was at that moment that I realized Birdman was full of shyt. I hope he gets what is coming to him after playing with so many peoples' lives and livelihoods.

No one forced any of these rappers to sign with cash money or baby

baby was smart

if osme dumb ass wants to sign away their masters and get paid 2 cents a album why would I object?
Ethics. Especially when there's unequal bargaining power. These kids aren't these hyperprivileged people like Swift, Grande, etc. It's a bunch of nikkas who would do anything to get out of the hood and he took advantage of their desperation.

All I know is it's on RECORD that Baby ain't been paying nikkas for years upon years...

So SOMEBODY was going to come at his ass one day...

Ross just did it so immaculately for the culture :wow:

Hell I remember when Sohh and Allhiphop were still top dogs and their front pages stayed with somebody filing suit against Cash Money..

It got to the point I was wondering why the hell would ANYONE work with these nikkas!!?!?

Even David Banner had to take them to court
