Ok cool. The knights of Columbus share similarities to Freemasonry as well. They both have degrees and initiations. Also, both the York and Scottish Rite have various degrees such as the knights of malta, knight of the sun (which degree utilizes the 5 pointed star for the symbol just as vice lords) and the knight of st. andrew just to name a few that use the whole "knight" thing.
