chris brown couldn't even save this, good song though.

i really liked this single too. he also had the house arrest, the beef'n w/ drake and birdman, the wt loss, the on and off again engagement to lira galore and a good album on top of it.
i hav to agree. im not seeing much of any buzz for this. i expect him to do even fewer numbers. hes also acknowledged he doesnt make as much releasing music these days. but its necessary to keep his name and face out there for his other businesses. he's never fallen off in quality of music tho.

God forgives I don't was the end.

He actually built a huge buzz at the time.

Looked like he was finally going to really break through and become a bigger star.

All eyes were on that album and he had verses from everybody.

But the album was more mediocrity.

After that he dropped a 1-2 punch of mastermind and hood billionaire that further cemented him as just a minor player.

He was never able to craft a classic. Pretty soon people got tired of him because all his shyt sounds the same.

Didn't help that he started pushing mmg heavy further saturating himself.

All these nikkas talking shyt will be the same ones in the album thread....So this is pointless. It happens EVERYTIME, be for a album drops.

Coli poster: "Y'all nikkas excited for ______'s album?? That nikka been feel off". "His last albums were wack as shyt and this one will be the same".

Album drops....

Coli poster: " aye, Y'all nikkas got a download link"
"I've heard the first couple of songs...."

I'd say probably after he kept trying to remake BMF. He peaked mainstream wise with Teflon Don. Also I'm still not sure why Rich Forever wasn't the album presented to the masses :snoop:
This tho is my shyt :blessed:

I think the mistake was announcing the album "way in advance" (in today's world at least), and not pushing any song or whatever.

Should've just released it that same Friday or by surprise then.

He has 2 singles out that he's pushing hard

They aren't catching on because they're not very good

This.

GFID wasnt a bad album but it made the mistake of being a regression after Teflon Don and Rich Forever.

This isn't the reason he fell off tho. You're allowed to have projects that don't live up to expectations during your run

Eventually people just get tired of hearing an artist

It can happen after 1 year like Fetty or after 20 years like Jay z
