album is really good.
has a real consistency all the way through..infact, pretty much the whole thing including the 3 bonus tracks are good.

i'll compare it to the way i felt about NWTS...i really enjoy the album but it just doesn't have that centrepiece that joint that makes you go :whoo: :banderas:
..a Rich Off Cocaine for example.

i feel a bit iffy about Nobody at first but you'd stay alone for the Diddy ranting.
could have done without the Dope bytch skit but at the same time it nearly made my dikk hard.

i changed the sequence on part of the album..i put Paradise Lost after Thug Cry then Blessing In Disguise and finally You Know I Got It (Reprise).

all in all, another good album in really good catalogue of albums.
Deeper Than Rap ---> Teflon Don ---> MasterMind

DTR actually has more skips than the other two, but in 09, that album was part of the soundtrack to my summer that year.
not sure where Rich Forever would fall in..fire but it's packed with some filler and it doesn't have that album template.

tell Hervis...

:whew: Powerful post.

Some nikkaz is reaching to the extreme in this thread

It's truly sad. This thread made me realize how many people are stans and are incapable of having an objective conversation. You literally have people in this thread refusing to acknowledge others opinions and getting angry because they don't like specific songs. I actually started out saying the album had heat and just said it wasn't for me for reason x, y, z and then the stans came out and attacked me for personally wanting more. As a DJ I'm gonna be spinning many of these tracks out and can differentiate between my own personal taste and what I think the rest of the world will like. Despite my personal feelings, I expect many people to like this album. Like you said, there's absurd reaching to justify their like for this album.

there's no reaching. the album is dope as fukk. probably a classic. nobody is saying you don't have a right to your opinion. but people like you seem to want to force that opinion on the rest of us who love what ross is doing. you don't think the album is great. ok? most of us do. why is it that people like YOU can't seem to grasp that a lot of us think this is a great album? you seem to take offense to that.

i don't understand why people like you come into ross threads and try to force your opinion on the rest of us who are fans of his music. :snoop: and then you call us stans because we don't give a fukk about your opinion.

Since there is a new fascination with metacritic scores - Mastermind weighs in at 84. Just to give you a frame of reference, Beyonce's last album just did a 85 :mjpls:
