Some clown from the LA Times was hating and gave it 1.5 stars.
If you ain't fukking with this album, you clearly aren't into street music or trap culture. I deleted mafia music 3 and supreme. They just didn't fit. Album is is classic.

Album is a prime example of "a certain audience" not getting it 
It isn't Metacritic's fault that the album has a score of 69 (well, not fully their fault). They don't review albums. They just give albums a score based on the reviews that they are given (some of the reviews are rated higher than others).
Critic reviews aren't really reliable like that anyway. They don't really tell the listener what they want to know, which is whether the album is worth purchasing. Most of the time, an album isn't going to receive a high score unless it's something that they can hype as "edgy" or "revolutionary" regardless of how good or bad it is.
Either way, it doesn't make or break how dope Mastermind is.
