Definitely not seeing Teflon Don, DTR or even GFID....

You could say that its more consistent, but it also brings nothing new to the table. Even the beats, Ross strong point for years now, arent very interesting

People sayin all Ross raps about is money don't get it. There's more to it than that.

Ross's music isn't just about money. It's about livin your dreams and makin your fantasies a reality. That's always what his music been about since day 1. First album, first track... push it to the limit. Handle your business and don't stop until you livin the boss life.

I got news for you. Half the nikkas that shyt on Ross's music dream daily about the shyt he raps about. Havin endless paper, fukkin model hoes, being a successful entertainer, etc. If Ross's music can put you in that head space for 4 and a half minutes and make you aspire for more then he's done his job. You're supposed to listen to his shyt and then go out and get it.

And the lyrics aren't meant to be 100% factual. Like any great storyteller the facts are embellished for dramatic effect. Sometimes the tracks are autobiographical and sometimes they ain't. Not every track is told from the first person perspective of William Roberts.

I'm still reading through this big ass thread but, I wanted to quote this post. That's what Ross does so well. He's not the first braggadocios, big personality, stunting type rapper but, the way he does it, makes you want to go out and grind. If you can listen to his joints and not get motivated to do whatever it is you want to do in your life, you just destined to be a dusty nikka.
