I expect Pharrell sales to hold steady, and a pretty big dropoff from Ross.

Nothing wrong with being number 1 but I think these type of Sales are about as good as its gonna get for Ross...

Its like he keeps making the same album with different production and features... People know his albums will have good production and great features so its a safe formula cause you know what you are getting

But its kinda crazy that he is 6 albums in and his sales are steadily declining

nikka what you think this is the 90s or early 2000s?

I'm sure most rappers are declining except if they started from the bottom (like Schoolboy who's last sold like 5k). Look at Kanye etc.

Honestly is J. Cole one of the few increasing?

its not about hits, it's about building a core. pharell got the biggest song on earth, and the last biggest song *blurred lines* was his as well, and this nikka can't even crack 100k. and ross doing his thing, but i doubt this joint will even go gold. 50 sold more than that first week with BISD, you know, the biggest flop ever according to yall? yeah, 50's bottomless pit is rick ross's apex, :ohhh:

50 hasn't even released his biggest flop ever..They have been putting that off since True Religion jeans were hot...

Trust me.. When he does release his biggest flop... It's gonna be a lot less than 160k first week...

Lol at nikkas comparing a rapper who's sold 10 million albums to a gold selling rapper and then trying to pass off the L to the nikka doing what he's always done.

50 should be compared to nikkas like Jay, Wayne & Kanye...rappers on his level commercial wise.

:heh:

I was tripping off that too...

1. it's not even true...Ross's numbers haven't been "steadily declining"...they've been flucuating between 150-220 every single release since his debut

GFID 218
TD 176,300
DTR 158K
Trilla 198k
POM 187K

2. Even if it were true, there's absolutely nothing "crazy" about that...the vast majority of rappers don't even make it to 6 major label releases, and the ones that do 99% of the time don't have increasing sales every album into perpetuity...DEFINITELY not now when album sales decline across the board every single year ...seriously, I want to see the list of rappers, 6 albums deep that are still within 50k give or take from their peak numbers in modern times....150K today ain't the same as 150K in 2009 in a constantly deflating market...and we ALL know this
