That’s not how buying a catalog works potna, it’s not just about future album sales…that’s actually not even a priority when someone buys a catalog. It’s about being able to do anything you want with those records in any way you want…it’s about, most importantly, the royalties from slutting the catalog out however you see fit…not to mention ownership. Nobody is buying a catalog because the albums are gonna be top of the charts again lol
