Because of EMINEM.

How you omit that fact intentionally, is deception in itself. 50 would never be able to so that on his own

Then how come other Eminem artist not sell so well. Slaughterhouse, D12 solo albums, Yelawolf and Bobby Creekwater. Can’t deny 50 hits and talent.

Get the help you need man. I’m praying for you brotha and hope you find peace

D 12 first and 2nd albums each sold 3 million copies, back in the early to mid 00s when Eminem's fame was at its height. Same thing for Obie Trice. So its no surprise that 50 got the same success, with the superhuman backstory of "getting shot 9 times" that made non Hip Hop fans buy the album, off of sheer hype and stereotypes :mjpls: . Also, its no coincidence that the general public was done with 50 when Kanye sonned him in 2007 and the 2nd G Unit album flopped back in 2008 because people were fed up with stale beats and his crabbish mentality towards other (talented) black people

Slaugherhouse and the others came post 2010 when Eminem was wild low key and past his prime.

All this talk of pure sales is garbage. So if someone does not sell as many albums as you they cannot say anything to you?

How about just debating who is nicer on the mic? Stan’s pulling out Soundscan numbers from over a couple of decade ago to justify their horseshyt is laughable

50, Banks, Buck and Yayo were all nicer on the mic either at some point or still today than Rick Ross ever was.

50 also, probably more importantly, had the full support of Interscope at the time.

When Jimmy pulled the plug on the support 50 was getting around Curtis due to all the unreleased music being released on tapes, and key people in 50s crew like Sha Money XL were cut, we saw how 50s sales and popularity plummeted... Even his overall quality of music and writing fell off but people aren't ready to have that discussion.

I remember during the beef, Fat Joe said something like 50 was getting 8 figure marketing budgets for his albums.

This is something that none of those other Shady artists had.

lol. this is exactly the kinda dumb shyt i was talking about with ross. you can't win. :russ:

add up the sales for all the albums ross is talking about. g-unit has sold twice as much (roughly $6.5-7.5M) as his offer. shyt, they've probably outpaced ross's career sales. who the fukk is selling that low on those masters? there are SEVEN top 20 singles across those albums (ross has three for his career, fwiw).

if the point is to flex, then wouldn't the real flex be to buy the masters (if 50 doesn't own them) and pop up with the paperwork?

i'm not picking sides. i'm legitimately amazed at rick ross's ability to bend logic.

He saying that their master are not worth anything. It don’t matter how much they sold at the time it’s about current value
