U love bringing up "rapping about stuff thats going on", for one.. Rick Ross for the most part still raps about the shyt he always rapped about. Every rapper doesnt have to be Farrakan on the mic and rapping about political shyt doesnt make u automatically better otherwise Immortal Technique is the goat. If I wanted to listen to a rapper rap about political shyt im not expecting it from a rapper who spent the first 10+ years of his career talking about drugs and violence like Ross and 50 did.

Not to mention he still makes trash shyt like this

50 Cent is still making quality music as indicated by the Kanan Tape whether u like it or dislike it because it doesnt sound like an outdated 2000s NY album, it doesnt matter. It gave 50 more buzz musically than he had in years.

The Kanan Tape was decent, but I'm still waiting for 50 to evolve, Ross already did with Black Market. I need something else besides gun toting raps. His content is stale and basically nobody relates to shooting people.

The majority of his music is revolved around that, there's like 25% of his stuff that only has him rapping bout his past, his struggles or anything of that nature. He never grew out of his comfort zone.
