I'm smokin to it right now with a little( ok a lot of) henny on the side. Whooo a tear almost fell out my eye when I heard the line about Birdman's watch being fake and Ross said "damn'. I could feel the hurt in his voice.

I'm probably going to catch hate but Rozay is entering God MC status.

Lets be real honest to if we look at Biggie and Rozay and examine their catalog, Rozay is the superior artist. Biggie might be the GOAT when we look at technical skill, because Biggies flow is insane, but in regard to actual content Rozay imo can sit at the table with the likes of Nas and Jay.

I think we hold bias to biggie because he is our Rap Mike Jordan when it comes to those of us who grew up in the 90s but if we are honest, technical skill aside Jay and Nas have passed Biggie. I think Biggie is the Barry sanders of rap. His career was too short (not his fault) to be able

I listened to the whole album about 4 times. I'm not too fond of summer 17, should have closed out with Maybach Music... Still, this is a GREAT album. His steady improvement from the Port of Miami days is actually incredible. He's climbing up that all time list at this point. He don't get enough credit.

does anybody else find it difficult to believe that he writes his own stuff ?
from the way he carries himself in interviews he just doesn't seem capable to come up with these lyrics
(he can basically do only the ima boss rhetoric, if ya underdig)

no hate though cause his discog is solid and this is another dope project

He was a ghostwriter for years according to him. So if he honed his craft mastering different writing styles it makes sense.


I honestly don't think he'd have as much credence within Hip Hop circles and amongst legends (Nas, Hov) if he wasn't writing his own shyt. That would've been something that 50 would have used to DRAG him through the mud also when they wasn't beefing fresh.

I think he's very intelligent and his persona is dumbed down when it comes to public appearances. In full length interviews he still comes off as fairly smart.

Plus some people are just better communicators when they have time to put it on paper. I know people that are borderline geniuses when you give them time to craft something together (stories, essays, business proposals, etc.) but in passing they come off as average intelligence.

Could he be getting some help? Possibly. That's a possibility with damn near any MC. But I'm fairly sure he's writing 99% of his rhymes. I doubt he would be doing any more than grabbing a couple bars here or there.

Nas isn't always the most articulate when answering questions in interviews or conveying a general message but his effortless rhyming is never questioned


Your skepticism is very alarming and almost elites to say the least.

just skimmed through every track, and Nas verse was ridic. Usually Ross can keep up, but Nas washed him on this one .

yea, i don't get how people saying he ain't being promoted.

Promotion to youngins doesn't include TV. They watch YouTube. I think to reach youngins let Daym Drops, Justine, & mkbhd promote. I'm 30....I came up on cable & online video was simply on demand music videos. I'm just getting into YouTube people in terms of news, tech, & video games etc.
