Just listened to this. Wow. Fantastic album. If not for those trap songs this mighta been a classic. Every non trap song is flames. Scientology is amazing. Ross has come along way. Triple Platinum :blessed:

A little disappointed with the Nas track. It wasn't wack but Nas/Ross songs are usually magic. This was just aight
That's one of my only gripes about the album, but it's a big one because it's Ross & Nas!

I'm no expert in studio audio, but I feel like I'm good at telling when something is off. Whoever engineered and mixed Powers That Be is an as$hole.
- Ross' second verse had no energy...sounded like he was rehearsing.
- Nas' verse came outta nowhere, and it's obvious they it wasn't recorded in the same place & on the same mic.
- The chick at the end also came outta nowhere, and either should've been a better mixed hook in-between all verses or removed completely.
- The fade out was terrible.

My only other gripes are the track with Gucci and ending the album with Summer Seventeen instead of Maybach Music V.

This woulda been a classic without the trap songs. But it's an almost classic and at least 4 songs are gonna be in rotation the whole year.
Stop lying to yourself, dogg. The only reason this thing got any hype was because the tribble-double-Ross face mentioned BirdmandNicki, Meek and Drake by name

Right. Like these days I'm sure most tracks aren't recorded at the same studio but a good producer can make it sound like it. Triple beam dreams sounds fluid. Like you said the song is just all over the place. Nas flow is off too.

It was a little off but he still crushed it, IMO. His bars still provide replay value.

But I will concede that it's an oddly made song. Could have been crazy dope if a little more time was spent on it.

Trap Trap Trap grew on me that should've been the only trap song on here imo.

Shave off Dead Presidents, She on my dikk, and Summer 17 and u got a classic here
