Hopefully it's better than "The Black Bar Mitzvah"
Oh god, I was going to say something about that trash tape.... :francis: That tape had some verses short as 40 seconds and he then just kept the song going like he want to hear that whole song again. :stopitslime:

You already know. 50 gonna have a slew of his guppies hating on that tape, going on random hiphop sites spamming ratings and the the comment section. As if that's gonna stop the homie Rozay from putting out that heat.

Ross already proved he's one of the best and most consistent in the game. Oh yeah and the same ones who bash Ross will be the same ones copping DL links when the album leak too. It never fails. Even the ones who pop off about this nikka bow down and acknowledge the quality he puts out when his projects drop.
:mjlol:
I know people are going to scoff at this. He doesnt just want to be a Hip Hop book end piece. He wants to be known as one of the goats. If what Ross said is true "I've been in the audience cheering for their favorite artists knowing I wrote that song" If that's accurate, he can't be disputed as a mc or a songwriter. I don't care what a hater says, that's why everyone in the industry from Bun B to Kool G Rap to Pusha to Kanye, they all know Ross can't be denied.

I really do believe he is one of the rare ones where Black Market is just warming up. He did this in the space of a house arrest... He was able to coordinate multiple features all across the musical world and bring him on his album. Very few artists do that, they talk about it, but they don't execute it. Christ his features on Black Market, people wish they could get.

And to think Ross is sitting on collabs by the hundreds, that's $$$$ in the bank.

Why the fukk do you think Scarface is so geeked up over Ross? Because as a SOUTHERN artist he has such control over his career that he was able to get the label to go w/ his marketing plan even though he doesn't sell millions each record. But if you add it up, he's sold over 30 million......just on features.

He may not be Drake or Jay Z level of selling, but his accumulation is staggering.

Ross learned from the masters, he faked it until he made it. Maybe all the cars, mansions, lavish lifestyle was rented but he rented it long enough til he could afford it. Where others gave up, he did not. He wanted to live that life and now you notice no one is saying that Holyfield mansion is rented..... those cars are rented. Pull up the board forum posts from 2009 in the archives, everyone was predicting Ross was going to go the way of MC Hammer.

It isn't a coincidence he sent Bel aire bottles to Floyd or that he bought Holyfield's mansion. That's subliminal humor. Before Drake sent bottles to Charlamagne, Ross sent Bottles to Floyd. :mjlol:

Although I am going to download it like the rest of the fire joints dropping thanksgiving(Fab and 50). I think he should have maybe release this earlier. With it being so close to his retail release it might have a negative impact on his retail album.

Then again I'm just a consumer. It might work out for him:manny:

Thats real talk. Ross is a rare artist just like you said. He's one of the very artists I know that can get people who dont even like him submit and listen to his music because they know its gonna be good. Top tier music with the lyrical skill to match. He always drops dope projects and music. Especially when his back is against the wall. People don't even realize how long Ross has been in the game. For example, A legend like Scarface even used to be cool with Ross before his deal.

"I've been knowing Ross since he was Teflon
Same nikka now it was back then, nothing stepped on"

Dude is solid. Like I always say, people gonna miss this dude when he's gone. But its funny though because people will criticize him, then turn around and lurk the internet on the day his projects drop. Ross doesn't even chase mainstream anymore and I'm glad because when he does this,he shows what he's really capable of musically and lyrically. The more controversy happens, the more music he drops and over shines his enemies. He's smart. Alot of industry rappers are jealous of this man and I know what I'm talking about,

Ross gonna keep dropping projects too because he wanna keep his fans satisfied and he just likes being in the studio and making music. Don't be surprised if he drops another album or mixtape between July-December of next year.

I kinda agree that he should have released this a little earlier. I think it's going to be confusing to people that aren't diehard Ross fans. Because the album will probably leak around Thanksgiving too.
