Totally different because Weird Al songs are clearly parodies I the originals. Shufflin isn't a parody of Hustlin, they just appropriate a line for a big part of the song.

Also Weird Al gets permission to do his songs. I remember hearing Chanillionaire talk about getting a call about White and Nerdy.

Is it not a parody? I don't listen to LMFAO and just assumed off the title. The way you have described it I still don't see a legal victory for Ross.

Also yeah Weird Al does ask for permission but it doesn't stop the legal threats. It's been ruled parodies are clear for songmaking so he's safe from labels.
