If Kendrick and Drake beefed right now, and in 5 years time Drake is more successful still, do we say Drake won after he was exposed but Kendrick still writes his own rhymes? I ask this, because I don't expect anything to happen to Drake either, this generation has already looked past so many pillars of hip hop. One of those - realness and authenticity is perhaps the only reason why Ross won. Because before that, he wouldn't have been given a shot to release Mafia Music Remix, let alone 5 years later still being around.
