Different things make different people happy.
The same way you and I find it weird that (for example) Indians dont marry for love is the same way THEY find it weird that You and I DO marry our women for love.THey know love fades over time. Look at our Divorce rates
- Some people believe in marrying into/for money
- Some are into status/class (indians are mostly known for this but most of the whole world practice it)
- Some are into family fortune mergers (upper middle class North Eastern Americans are heavily into this and Europeans are heavy into this)
