Is there anything wrong with us policing our communities? The only thing I’ll say is it’s tough with the state of certain hoods nobody wants to die a vigilante and it’s possibilities for corruption.
I think if we fought for community investment, shunned the street nikka culture, policed our own community, and everyone from the professional class to the OG’s spent time doing community work whether it’s mentoring kids, cleaning up, voting just overall being civically involved we could cut this shyt down.
In many white communities in America they have neighborhood watches/patrol.
Here in NYC, the Jews, Muslims, and Asians have their own police patrols.
But then in the predominantly black and latino ghettos it’s Italian-American and Irish-American cops and c00ns policing for the most part.
