those billboards are already up. theres one in philly you can see riding up broad street. i forget where exactly.
needless to say, im disgusted everytime i see it. but i always get a good laugh cuz drake has the only pic up there where hes going out of his way to look tough.

and yea, i always looked at sprite as the official drink of hip-hop & r&b.
so much so, that when i first heard babyface's "for the cool in you" on the radio, i assumed it was a sprite commercial.
brilliant marketing. cant be mad at that considering the names they gave the spotlight too. i dont recall them ever giving light to a questionable rapper until they started the campaign with drake, but mainstream rap was already dead by then so its whatever.

nobody really stepped up to take the title.
mcdonalds has the most ads on black tv networks but i cant recall them ever reaching out to hip-hop or even r&b aside from the lil nique & dj juss commercial.
theyll promote the hell out of their chit at something like the soul train awards so i guess theyll get the title by default.
