Why though? Curious.
The Revenant was more about the cinematography and Leo putting in a good performance than anything else IMO. Hardy was good to great as well, but by the end of the movie I really didn't care about any of the characters.
The Martian on the other hand, I really cared if Damons character was going to make it or not, and the rescue attempt in itself had me on the edge of my seat, so to speak..
I just bought into The Martian more and was more entertained by it.
I'm not comparing them breh. Where did the notion come from that you can't enjoy one movie more than the other if they aren't the same genre, its entirely possible to do so breh.
