KG could never guard a PG...hell not even SGs. :pachaha:

KG could never do what Dirk did in the 2011 playoffs.

Duncan

Dirk
KG

BTW, Sheed should have been on here if this nikka had any passion for the game...only nikka I've see give Duncan and Dirk fits. :to:

Dirk is great but he couldn't guard my grandma. :usure:

So you've already compared their supporting casts, and looked @ all the circumstances, such as match-ups each player faced, the numbers, etc?

So if nobody's willin' 2 address these points, than Duncan bein' better than The Big Ticket's just off opinion/preference, no matter how widespread that view may be.

He's always been better in my heart.

He wasnt always better though.

Whats the point of bumping this? Duncan has been better this year and KG was better last year. Both are great players and both have been pretty much interchangable for their careers.

Garnett did spend time on guards when he played in Minny. How is this surprising? He came inte the league as a SF. They used to switch him on PGs very often during his prime. I've seen him match up against Nash for stretches plenty of times.

Look at footage from the 04 playoffs. He was running the point for stretches in the Sac series and for extended minutes in the Laker series, because Cassell and Hudson were injured.

KG was not better last year. Why are people saying this? In what way was KG better last year? Duncan had more points, rebounds, and blocks in less minutes and shot a higher %.

TYRONE GA!
Post game and being someone you could feed down the stretch to win in a game is what always separated the 2.

Duncan > KG and it's not a slight on KG to say so

Tim Duncan is going thru a divorce. Kevin Garnett has never been divorced.
Game set match, KG.

KG is the more versatile player y'all can have that but a GREAT low post presence will ALWAYS be more valuable than a 7-footer taking fadeaways from 10-12 feet out...

it's just what it is:yeshrug:

I wish Kevin Garnett had the luxury of players the talent of Parker and Ginobli and a coach with the talent of Popovitch.

I'm gladh e got at least one ring, but he could've had so much more.

So Guggliotta, Terrell Brandon, Marbury, Cassell, Sprewell, Scerbiak, Ray Allen and Paul Pierce didn't have talent?
