The foundation of everything Dr. King preached, and all his actions that made him the venerated historical figure that he is, are rooted in his faith in the God of Christianity. Those liberals that pompously declare their godlessness, only feign to have any real connection with the man.

The irony of the thread starter calling out anyone for misquotng or misrepresenting a devout Christian, while naming himself "godless," went right over your heads.
Dr. King was a Baptist Minister with a doctorate in theology. He was named, at least renamed, after a man that is probably the most important figure in the Christian west in the last 700+ years. The post that you quoted is about hypocrisy not politics.
