she's actually only sold 400k right now according to forbes. the 1 million downloads were mostly free from samsung basically buying the album and giving out free codes through tidal. Regardless, this album will have her largest sales, because before this, she never had high album sales, just really large singles sales.

I wonder if most artists are now just going to release their albums first, then a single.

400k first week might be her highest ever. Her last album only did like 250k
