Lol, what’s creative about this? And no one is arguing against the “ability to see one’s car”, that promotion explicitly called it out as being great for theft deterrent when that doesn’t add up to the reality of brazen crimes these days…the fukk is that flimsy camera gonna do when ripped out the dash?

You got people ramming whole ass cars into liquor stores to pull out ATM machines but a dashcam is going to prevent car theft? Nah, it’s gonna have some dumbass run out a store thinking they’ll save their car and end up getting shot

Edit: have you ever been on nextdoor to see how many people post ring footage of a crime or packages being stolen off their porch to still never catch the criminal? At best ring cameras keep you from opening the door to someone who has a gun or proves to a company your package was stolen so they resend it
