No every person over 30 should get a colonospy every 5 years.. It's dumb because they don't do it unless your having stomach issues, or had it in family but early detection is the only way... Would have saved my mom

A doctor will not perform a colonoscopy unless you show symptoms of stomach problems or have a family history, like you said. If you're fine and ask for one (under age 50), they will not do it.
