Damn, RIP to her. Regardless of my point of view about her sons career, she definitely earns my respect being a strong black woman
and ACTUALLY being in the trenches for black people and rising thru her own struggles.

Im not even a black american but i always say that i see all black ppl as my ppl. We all know we the same ppl and share the same struggle. That divide and conquer shyt is dumb. Strenght in numbers too.

So again much respect to her and her legacy and may she RIP.

She sacrificed a lot being apart of the movement, the fact she told Pac "Never give all of yourself for your people" says she maybe had some regrets at some point, but hopefully she got over that:mjcry:...She really did sacrifice a lot, arguably even her children to a certain extent.....Her daughter Sekiwya said she had a lot of issues growing up with the name,as well as just not having active parents at home....Feds kicking they doors in constantly looking for Mutulu, shyt like that can give you PTSD but if not, definitley has a lasting effect on your paranoia....Sekiywa definitely has said she has bipolar disorder and suffers from depression....Pac I dont think was actually ever diagnosed with anything that we know of,but he was a wild boy:pachaha:,and certainly his defiance, trustworthiness of all black people and heart, much of which came from being bought up in the movement.....Some of that led to his demise, because of things Afeni was going through, not being able to nurture that energy towards the right things.....She's definitely someone who made the ultimate sacrifices.

And you cant argue with destiny,Pac may not be Pac if not for her going through her rough patch....Pac went on to become a star and seemingly helped bring a lot of his family out of that cursed life of the movement....Then he loses his life which gives Afeni something to do and to fight for again, and Sekiwa says his death bought her out of her depression as well, and she wanted to get back to the person he saw her as....Funny how life works and one person can break the cycle#sacrifices:wow:

Woke up this morning to see this news. The worst part is she didn't live to see anyone brought to justice for the killing of her son.

She died days before mothers day too:mjcry:

Brought to justice? :dahell: Orlando Anderson is...

You know what this aint the thread for it.

RIP Afeni.

So ironic she dies 5 days before Mothers Day
