RIP to a NYC sports broadcasting legend.

I thought Al Trautwig was pretty good. I was a little shocked when I once heard a friend say he didn't like him.
Years ago I remember watching Yankees games on WPIX and he'd do the broadcast.

I hope I'm remembering that correctly. It was a long time ago.

to a MSG Network legend, crazy to have been a part of Yankees, Knicks, and Rangers TV coverage over the years as well Olympics and US Open. Just a versatile broadcaster and shame his career ended suddenly without much of fanfare. Glad he’s gotten his flowers since yesterday in passing.
