Rest in Peace to him.

Brehs, paddleboarding is very trendy right now. If you decide to go out and you know you can't swim, I would advise you not to do it. If you do, make sure you wear a life vest (if you know how to swim or not). Additionally, all paddleboards should have leashes attached to them that you tie around your leg. So if you fall off, you won't get too far from the board because you are attached to the leash. And try to get a lesson beforehand to learn what to do if you fall off. There is a very specific way to right size a paddle if it capsize and a very specific way to get back on if you fall off. It takes a couple of practices to get it right. But try not to go out on the water without training. It will save your life.

My dad was just clowning me a lil bit over the weekend cause I told him I'm not about to get on a boat until I learn how to swim. He was like :childplease:it's easy, you can lay on your back and float, nothing to be worried about.

I said, I hear you dad, but it would be just my luck to get on a boat and it go down and I'm the only fool on there that can't swim and wind up drowning.

I'm guessing he fell off the board, hit his head and drowned?
Yeah. He now accounts for one out of ten paddle board deaths per year in the USA.
