From reading up on it briefly it seems to be something your body becomes at risk to as you get older and are taking certain powerful antibiotics combined with anti inflammatory meds like prednisone or ibuprofen. Eventually it can compromise your immune system, tendons, nerves and etc.

Its technically called Fluoroquinolone toxicity, which is caused by the antibiotics
