I did not expect Coolio passing away to hit me so hard.

It's because there is no Coolio of today.

He was a one of a kind figure in Hip-Hop history.

He had Compton street credibility, but made music that could be socially conscious , but then could be fun & funny without being corny.

We didn't even realize how big of our culture Coolio was.

"Gangsta's Paradise" is one of the most important Hip-Hop songs of all-time.

Coolio was like shock G with the alcohol, drugs and women and after 20 plus years of that shyt , it effects u later on in lifeck c

Yeah it seems like your 50s is when shyt catches up to you.

Noticed a lot of black celebrities (and people iRL) developing heart problems and other issues around that age.
