RIP. Wasn't too familiar with his music besides Gangsta's Paradise but always used to see him in shows/movies as a kid. Seemed like a good dude.

I actuially think this pandemic has created this weird phenomenon

You have 2 types of people, basically

1. People who the pandemic made EXTREMELY aware of their health, so they became obsessed with being/getting healthy.

2. People, who the pandemic just pushed over the edge.

I'm #1, I'm on the treadmill, lifting weights all that shyt wayyyy more consistent since the pandemic.

I'm Larry Holmes as fukk, but dammit, I've lost a lot of weight & I'ma be looking good to some young broads & maybe a few older ones :russ:

A lot of other people though, it's like the last 2 years has just sucked the life out of them.:francis:

RIP to Coolio and Shock, DMX, Prince Markie Dee, and all the other legends we lost🙏

If the last few years haven’t engrained physical health into peoples minds there’s not much hope. The danger of underlying causes was front and center for all to see. Some people just don’t care. Really is survival of the fittest and the only people looking out for you is you. Eat right, get your sleep, get some exercise, get a yearly physical. There’s no barrier to any of that. Anyone anywhere can do all 4. Some folks are disciplined and some aren’t.

Wow just saw this. Dude was a staple of 90s hip hop. We went to see him at a KC music festival after his career was on the down slope. KC cops told him no cussing and had cops by the stage WAITING to arrest him the moment he said one word. So the whole show they kept goading the cops saying just the first sounds like “nih-“ “shi-“ “fu-“ :mjlol:

At one point I raised my hands up and did a peace sign he looked right at me and did it back :mjcry:

Near the end of the show he brought 2 dudes up from the crowd and let them free style but it had to be free style no canned lyrics. One guy killed his other dude got kicked off stage for reciting and got mad. He came over and stood near us and threw a damn water bottle :dahell: Then tried to stand there like he didn’t know who did it. He snuck off before security got to him.

Crazy part was one short white dude in our crowd was married to this tall, really beautiful girl like model pretty. They met in high school and got married but she kept growing and he didn’t :dead: bytch was cheating every time he left town too, sorry #shortgang Anyway I didn’t see how this happened but Coolio sent someone over to invite us (her and whoever she wanted to bring that is) to party at their hotel. That’s how good she looked, he sniped her out of the crowd. But this dude was :hubie:I think he knew his woman would have been took instantly. We pestered him the whole night to go but he wouldn’t budge. I was pissed :stopitslime:

RIP seemed like a good breh
