The man was a television pioneer. You can argue for better or worse but he really ushered in the daytime trash tv era. My mother watches him to this day.

Man, I had nostalgia flashbacks of trash TV back in the day, when I was watching "Trial by Media". The lineup was thick, you Richard Bay, Jenny Jones, Montell, Giraldo's goofy slimy ass, Maury, Ricki Lake's PAWG ass, Sally, friggin Phil, and you had the GAWD!Jerry personified garbage pail tv from midgets fighting big hippo ass chicks, to Razor Ramon giving love to cancer kids
.It was a variety of fukkery that youngins missed out on. On the real, I remember there was a time when you could see fukkery on the set, than in real life with the courtesy of a fukking smartphone.

RIP. If you were born in the mid 80s-early 90s this show was a pillar of sick days. Despite how his guests behaved, he always treated them with dignity and without judgment. The man carried himself with class despite being the king of Trash TV. To men of my generation he was the GOAT at what he did. Now he's a legend.

I’d be lying if I said I cared. Jerry Springer, among others, was responsible for assisting in tarnishing black men and women’s images daily on free television, for years. He regularly promoted trashy behavior (often scripted) for the sake of ratings at the expense of my people. I’m not going to make the obvious connection, but nah I’m cool on him.
