He might have finished it if he didn't start drawing panels like this. His art was becoming straight up ridiculous over the years

Even stepping away from the story his illustrations were some legendary shyt

His editor was always saying stop being so detail oriented. Miura was like F that and would continue to work pixel by pixel.

I think its common at this point for the artists to have the ending already done in case something like this happens. Apparently the one-piece author has a plan too for how the story will end and had already written it down a while ago and shared it with a dying fan.

That's rare though, Oda has binders of his work written out and planned.

Most mangakas have it all in their head or are working on it in there. Miura was that way and I believe Togashi (HxH) is also the same way.

This is an insane panel but fam you ever read Gantz? Especially towards the end Oku was literally drawing Sony-level movie scenes.

RIP to a Legend. Wow, and I never even read Berserk.
