Was he forced to retire so they could get bytch ass Piers Morgan to take his spot or did he retire on his own? He lived a hell of life getting to interview almost everyone.
He was forced out they wanted to replace him with piers. Which didn't work out well for them since he was cancelled for low ratings a few years later. Larry continued working after cnn he started his own show

I loved his interviews because there was no pretence. He also gave real space for answers, he wouldn’t quickly cut off - he’d let his subject speak freely. Which lead to many great insights. Also; he was CONSISTENT. He put in the work.
