Because to many here it seems, rap is just more than entertainment. Which it always will be.
Some rap fans have this weird way of looking at music and real life. It's like, Lil Snupe is dead (RIP), but nobody should be trying to speak out on the killer because that's "snitching" and the codes of the streets don't allow for that, according to all these rap songs they listen to. As if this is the Wild Wild West and the law should be taken into their own hands. Then when retaliation occurs, then all of a sudden, they're all "This shyt has to stop, it's senseless" yet they're excited on the low that people are out here living what they rap about.
Some of the people in this very thread are more concerned with a 18 year old getting what he "deserves" due to his lyrics than realizing that another senseless death has happened in a troubling trend. The same folks who say "Chief Keef is young, let him live wild, I would be" are the same ones saying "Snupe should have gotten away from the hood, what was he thinking?"
That alone should show you what rap music is all about to some people.

Reminds me of some shyt that happened here a while back. Some nikkas attempted to do a drive-by in the projects and missed everyone except a 1 year old baby and the girl holding him while walking down the street.
Nobody said shyt for WEEKS until the police really cracked down on the case and someone finally came forward. Yeah, we're shooting babies now, but hey, don't be out here snitching.
