Detroit You bytch Ass nikka

I remember smashing my first girl to this track. :banderas:

Man that whole album was fire. Me and my brother ordered that shyt off the "order 12 CD's and pay later" shyt where you could use random names (Bryce Pittman 🤣) to order shyt.

Matter of fact, it's the only reason I transitioned to loving New York music and lyricism. I think my first order list had shyt like It Was Written (at that point, I only knew Nas from getting dissed by PAC and It Ain't Hard To Tell) Mobb Deep, Timberland and Magoo, Gza Liquid Swords, Ghostface, abd some other shyt.

That time literally shifted my whole opinion on hip hop, but I didn't touch any of the NY nikkas CD's for a while. Timberland and Magoo though, that shyt got all the play time for months. This period was fresh off the No Limit then Cash Money wave, matter of fact, I ordered a bunch of No Limit albums off there too. Fiend, Mac, Silk, Mystical, all they shyt was on there. I think I had ordered all the no limit shyt (I made about 6-7 orders around that time) and I wanted to hear other coast music. After PAC and Big got killed, No Limit took over. They were bigger than Cash Money got back then imo, Cash Money's 2nd run put then ahead. But yes, after getting all of No Limit albums, that's when I ordered the list full of NY nikkas and Timberland and Magoo. T&M got hella play, because I wasn't into NY music yet outside of Biggie. After going thru all the NY music, my hip hop preference completely changed.

Timberland and Magoo stand out in my life like a mfer, I knew all they shyt line for line and I thought Magoo was simple, but dope with the simplicity. Their music was friendly, you could play the shyt around your parents with no complaints. That shyt was dope.

RIP to my nikka Magoo. I'm gonna give the album a spin today to rep for bro bro.

I hope this isn’t fake love because I recall a majority of people calling Magoo trash. I never thought that at all, he had a unique voice that was an acquired taste but nonetheless RIP to the VA legend
Magoo came around when I realized I hear rap differently than some of my peers. They'd be telling me he's garbage and quoting random verses but I couldn't tell you a word he ever said. His voice, his flow, was just another cool sound, another instrument, on Tim's crazy beats.

I listened to their tracks because that sound changed the game. When I needed lyricism, there were plenty of other avenues (...not so much anymore). Anyway, RIP Magoo.

She said this, and he said that
And he said that Timbaland can't rap
But I don't care because I make dope tracks
I make you bounce and wiggle, and do this and that
- Timbaland

My Grandfather was the first black nightclub owner in CT

My cousin won WBA, USBA, and NABF Welterweight titles in the 80s

My other cousin was a star pg at Boston College and played in the NBA for 11 seasons.

Just cuz someone has the opposite opinion of you doesn’t mean they are the opposite race as you. And if your intuition led you to think otherwise, then it definitely needs to be sharpened.

My intuition leads me to believe you must have taken that thing thing. Sorry about that. Wasn’t trying to offend y’all. Just pointing out the obvious that young people are dropping like flies everywhere constantly ever since the you know what dropped.

I know…I know…
You’re confusing lies with an opinion. They aren’t interchangeable. If you are who you say you are, your relatives and ancestors must be embarrassed AF having an ignorant fool in the family who regurgitates the nonsense of white racists.

You don’t even know Magoo’s vaccination status and here you are shoehorning your stupid bullshyt into the conversation.

About 13 billion covid shots have been administered worldwide. If there was a problem with them, we would know.

Damn man 50 years old. RIP to one of the greats. And prayers out to the family. So unfair they have to send bruh off long before it should have been his time :wow:

50? too young. RIP

I'm trying to avoid smirking at the quips clowning his rapping abilities because this is a serious thread about the recently deceased.

Used to love chilling in my room bumping welcome to our world, that music took, and still takes me away to a place stress cannot touch me. RIP Maganoo
