Three black kids were shot too, breh. One of them is dead and another was right there in the audience of that CNN Town Hall. This is black people's problem too. I understand that America has a problem with empathizing children of color but this is not one of those times.

Yeah, no disrespect to her, but she's Nigerian, so she knows in the back of her mind if things got too bad here she could easily bugout to her home country or any other nation with a nigerian diaspora community where she has extended family. Just to flesh this claim out with a real life example, because I've found that people tend to have an ignorant view of the AA struggle in America as if it was purely pacifist in nature.

Non-violent civil rights groups like CORE and SNCC would've never been able to hold their protest if it weren't for the DDJ providing them with armed security against white mobs and the POLICE that were in cahoots with them

The Deacons’ role was very important during this violent period. Its members guarded the CORE Freedom House, patrolled Black neighborhoods at night, and provided armed protection for CORE activists (which included whites). I'm not AA, I'm Nigerian but my country Nigeria won independence without firing a single shot at the British. So change can be achieved without owning a gun and firing them.

And more importantly, nobody is saying that "we're going to take away all your guns". We just saying that nobody needs an AR, AK, etcs. Unlike your paranoid mind says, we are NOT AT WAR and we don't need all this military-grade weapons from anybody- both black and white.

Death by mass shootings and/or by assault rifles, which are uncommon as it is, are even more of a rarity in the black community. So, no, this is anything BUT a black issue.
