And that's using a very loose definition of 'mass shootings'- FOUR or more shot and/or killed in a single event [incident], at the same general time and location, not including the shooter

I don't see anyone calling for gun control for cops. I guess, because the police shooting victims are majority black and brown whereas the mass shooting victims are majority white, so they take priority.

But as you say, toenails are cac media theatrics that allow venting and discussion of an issue without any promises of solutions or actions moving forward. As I'm sure you remember, those police shootings were a ratings bonanza for the media so they made sure to present "both sides." They pander to us also without providing solution as well. Dead nikkas, missing white bytches, natural disasters and now dead children via mass shooting gets the media's collective dikk hard.
