Another nugget in this scene is where Goldie admitted to spending "a lot of bread" on that white chick to get her on his team. Fans of the flick always believe that he pulled her with nothing but straight game and his mouthpiece because of that one scene where he's sealing the deal with her. Nah dude came out of pocket big time to pull her. That's one reason this film became a classic is because it pulled no punches and really had no ducktails and cap in it. Goldie getting a loan to start off, teaching his girls how to shoplift, him riding around late at night looking for his hoes, trying to hypnotize and control their minds at the observatory, the other pimps like Pretty Tony causing problem, etc. This wasn't no music video where everything is lovely and mistake free. This flick is grimy asf and goes through the real underbelly of the pimp game.

The scene where he coldly tells the girl who was robbed to "go get me my money" lifted all the veils and fairytales about pimping away.

People could laugh/giggle before then, but that exchange gave a small glimpse into the heartlessness that it takes to pimp.
