Yea its a niche league sport that generates 10x the amount of revenue the "global" NBA does...

Your "global basketball league" struggles to beat out the DOMESTIC American soccer league (MLS) in attendance...A sport we don't even care about in this country...

I don't need surprises to enjoy the artistry that takes place on the court, the NBA finals had more creativity and brilliance on display than the entire handegg season.

Different strokes for different folks. Part of the appeal to me though is not knowing what's going to happen at the end of the day. If I can sit here in September and feel very confident in saying GS/CAVS final, then it loses some of its luster to me. That being said I'm probably going to catch most of the Golden State and CAVS games on national TV because they are fun to watch. All the other teams outside of the Spurs I guess, I don't really even care enough to pay attention that closely
