Knocking down and building something new in 3-5 years has a quicker return on investment.in a 100 years all violent people will probably be on an island somewhere sanctioned off from Utopia … this is how it starts
How about fixing the problem instead of moving the problem …

I would really love to live in Bronzeville. Even East Garfield Park would be nice and those neighborhoods, mainly Bronzeville, are majority black. I don't want to invest in a neighborhood that is flanked by shytty neighborhoods. I'm upfront when I say I am waiting for money to come and get them folks up outta there. If the fukking city can't dump funds to turn them around wholesale and help residents stay (unrealistic but idealistic) then at least do what it do so all that blighted ass land can be turned into something useful. It depressed me driving down Halsted for a couple of years to Englewood and seeing straight up empty buildings from the 70's and earlier boarded up with zero plans of doing anything.
