Radiowise, i agree. Fortunately, I can think of quite a few recent non-radio tracks off the top of my head though.

I'm glad I got to witness a few dope live performances focusing on djs over the years. Had the chance to see the X-Men once or twice in the early 2000s before Roc Raida passed. Seen Scratch live, Nu-Mark, Babu, Evil Dee, Primo, Cut Chemist, and a few other legends. My favorite songs are always ones that incorporate some kind of scratching in the song. I still hesitate to refer to an album as a "hip-hop classic" if its devoid of scratching. Its an oxymoron.
Yo, DJ Pam The Funkstress was NICE on the turntables! If Hip-Hop ever gets a hall of fame, she deserves an induction.
