I remember riding a bike through 'South LA' to hit up a soul food spot from a client's place I was working at. It was year 1 out of the 10 years I had spent there. It wasn't until I crossed Rosecrans and East Compton Bvld that I realized where I was. The streets I was cutting through off of the main roads looked like straight up suburbs. And I had no clue that LA was deliberately rebranding "South Central LA" to "South LA" to shake the history.

Yeah man. LA looks nice and really it always has.

But these gang nikkas don’t care about none of that. They’ll rob/gank you and then go skateboard at Venice like it’s nothing.

One side of my family is OG 40s. Also got one uncle that is Piru because he’s from Compton. I know a little bit about these politics, and I’m telling you, these dudes ain’t playing out here.

I hate what happened to dude. But man, check in for real and learn what’s what and where to go, what you can wear and keep your head on a swivel. Stay strapped and never post your location while you are still there.

Just stop man you embarrassing yourself, nobody is getting killed in south central every second of the day, you p*ssy, South Central ain't shyt, Flint, Michigan is more dangerous

Also PNB Rock is another Empire Records artist who has been KILLED, is this random too or is something to this

So we got Young Dolph, King Von, MO3, Drakeo The Ruler, Slim 400, XXXtencion, Lil Marlo, and no PNB Rock

he eight rapper on Empire to get killed and you don't think this is suspicious, and it's a possibility they are putting hits on these artist to get the insurance money and blaming it on street violence, it's a possibility

that's all, just like police doing investigation they explore all possibilities, you goofy man that's why stop posting smilies you ain't got a real nikka bone in body

I thought you was bullshytting then I checked Empire and it’s like 7 of them on there that died recently. That’s not a good look

goons in the cut tryna talk you out yo necklace
Los Angeles native, and a person who used to live up the street from that Roscoes, off Avalon, checking in:

That is precisely how nikkas get got out here. A lot of out of towners think that because LA is beautiful, shyt doesn't go down. Thinking that the Roscoes "look safe" is what will get your ass killed out here.

Me and my family dont go to that Roscoes for exactly this reason.

This is a problem with coming to LA, is that people who not from here think they can wear what they want, go where they want and do what they want unopposed. I remember one dude from Detroit saying he gon come out here wearing what he wants and dare a nikka to step to him. Breh, that's how nikkas get initiated into these gangs-- they are LOOKING for crash dummies that think they're tough.

Yall keep forgetting that we invented street gangs, and they take that shyt DEADLY SERIOUS. If you not from here, do some research and stay the fukk out of the hoods. There is nothing good there. I'm telling you as a nikka that grew up in South Central-- stay out.

Breh killed Nip in his own hood. Ain't nobody safe. :snoop:

Anybody can be caught anywhere, but generally speaking yes, the one on Pico is decent. The Long Beach, Pico, and Anaheim locations have always been relatively free of drama. That one on Manchester has never been a good spot to take your people

I grew up on the Pico location, and that particular one has become famous in the city. So you might have cats come through there with they chest puffed out, but I haven’t personally seen any nonsense at that location

Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
That's the mainly the westside of LA where alot of hoods still have cleaner streets and green grass but east of the 110 Freeway and south of the 10 Freeway which is South Central, The Eastside, Watts -where most visitors don't go- doesn't look nor is sweet at all.
Yea my cousin lived in watts. She said it was disgusting

The moment black death was marketed as entertainment all was lost. The culture is just an absurdity at this point. No amount of preaching is going to turn this toxic ass culture around. Enough people have to get fed up and completely disassociate from the negative elements of the community so that a new culture and way of being is born. Me personally, I don't even listen to rap anymore and I definitely don't go anywhere where there are large groups of dusty unproductive nikkas. I love my people but too many of us are toxic and damaged beyond repair. I just keep my distance and pray for them.
This reminds me of why focus so much on producing and being a house music and techno DJ because it's positive energy and personally I'm looking to black music outside of hip hop.

The thing I noticed though is unfortunately this cycle can't be broken because the major media outlets will not promote black artists outside of rap...so it feels like collectively we're stuck in this anti-black male death culture...because society wants to push and promote Black Men only as rappers...and I am so fukking sick of it.

Like does anybody ever stop to wonder why all this negative violent and oversexualized music is primarily marketed a black people and nothing else?
:patrice:

It's cause the powers that ie white society wants us as black men to kill ourselves off.

Understood... Haven't been to LA in a while but that's the one we went to and I didn't even consider it being that crazy. There was a crip (I assume) outside but he wasn't on that. You definitely can get got anywhere..

@Master Teacher making himself look like an ass is always entertaining. Dude think he knows everything and can never admit that he’s wrong :pachaha:

What was I wrong about, when did I say I knew everything, all I said it was just because it got killed in a dangerous era doesn't mean it was a random act and he wasn't setup, then I pointed out things that look suspicious

you and the fake ass nikka act like you are right, and know the facts, when you don't know what happened like everybody else, all I did was point out the suspicious things leading up to his death, I mean this is the second time nikka got at him and the first time was in a good area

so what are you talking about

I never even seen you post on this site and you tagging me, yall nikkaz can't even use basic common sense, and all the details haven't even be dropped, this ain't even the first time that nikka been to that roscoes, but yall assuming it is
