This is where actually being around for the shyt gives important context, not just to assume you weren't but still.



I like the song a lot but the moment it created, the impact it had is just as important if not more so than the record itself.

I still remember feeling hurt about that shyt. I knew prodigy was falling off because of that HNIC album but when Jay did this... as a mobb fan at the time, I genuinely was hurt that he really got at them and did damage too during that time. however, when Nas answered him back in December with Ether, I was happy as hell. that late 2001 was a dark time but at least it somewhat ended on a good note.
