Wow, R.I.P. to that man and condolences to his family. I used to joke about depression and even looked at suicide as the most selfish thing a person could do, but as I went through college and minored in psychology, I have a much better understanding of depression and how it affects those with it. Mental health is a serious thing and depression is something most of us will never fully understand. Before, I studied psychology, it never registered how hard it is for someone with depression to make it from day to day.

I wish some of these guys just stayed patient.

the thing about these mental health issues is that it seems like the end of the world but with time, patience and help, it eventually works out. But I know for a lot of people, its hard having that perspective.

Dude tore his ACL last season too. Prob seen the writing on the wall for his career. Not a lot of 5’8” 180 wrs in the league. RIP regardless
That was his second straight season-ending injury in August too, dislocated his knee the year before in training camp with Atlanta. And this all happened after it didn't work out in Arizona as a second round pick, definitely had to feel like the career he once envisioned was gone.

Makes me think of Jaden Ivey's comments this week saying he's not the same player anymore after breaking his leg and getting knee surgery, breh just turned 24 and is a few years removed from being a top 5 pick. Hope the people in his life are helping him get through that.
