That was his second straight season-ending injury in August too, dislocated his knee the year before in training camp with Atlanta. And this all happened after it didn't work out in Arizona as a second round pick, definitely had to feel like the career he once envisioned was gone.


Makes me think of Jaden Ivey's comments this week saying he's not the same player anymore after breaking his leg and getting knee surgery, breh just turned 24 and is a few years removed from being a top 5 pick. Hope the people in his life are helping him get through that.

You 24,25 years old and u made the NFL and boom injury here injury there and u know every year your spot could be taken and u could be out the league u dream of playing in and u go through mental things not only with the game but a lot of the players are thinking about family and friends opinions and some with needs from you

This is so tragic, such a young life at an early age, there needs to be more emphasis on mental health support for young athletes even before high school up till the NFL, its a sad thing to see

With NIL you go see more of these early suicides. Go from being millionaires as a teenager to all the money coming to an end in your mid 20s if you trash in the league or injured

That's the thing about mental health, for us who do not battle with it we think of all the positives like damn breh you're still young and a millionaire.

To him probably the thing he loved the most was gone, dude hasn't played in the nfl in 2 years already undersized his career was probably done, depression sets in.

When depression sets in it doesn't matter, you can have all the money, all the glory everything it doesn't matter.
